Arteta is finally going to win a title isn't he?

i think he will win it this year

even if they get injuries this season their squad depth is really good

this year everyone knows how good Arsenal's defence is and i remember a famous quote from sir alex which makes me thinks that Arsenal will win it this year

Why do we hate him and call him Judas again?

Is it because he dared to leave us? I can't remember to be honest, always quite liked him even though he seems a bit dim. Love a good nark.
Should have ragged fabregas all over Goodison for that.
We got his best years pre injury and I didn't begrudge him a whirl in the Wenger side to pick up a few medals. A Catalan kid that wanted to play instead of rotting on a bench and sitting in the sun. A rare commodity in these times. An easy choice for our prem era eleven.

Grew up on Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljungberg, Vieira, G.Silva, Cole and the rest. When you're young and football mad I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy watching them. I have personally never had an issue with Arsenal unless we are playing them.

They could have done it last year if they didn't have the injuries imo. Their squad is now able to cope with a few players out. If they can keep their key players on the pitch I think they will win it pretty comfortably. City and Chelsea have a slip up in them and the RS are already too far behind to recover.
I think if Arteta hadn't been so conservative in his team selections (when those injuries were active) they could have done it and all. Selecting a midfield three of Jorginho Rice and Partey most weeks, very uninspiring. Nwaneri should have been thrown in there IMO

Perhaps his biggest flaw is his precaution in those moments. Definitely got a bit of Moyes influence in him!

Didn't he ask to take a penalty against us at the Emirates and then knee slide in front of the away fans?

Nah, nowhere near it.
I disagree mate. Their defence alone will make them incredibly difficult to beat.

I watch a far bit of Barca and Real at the moment due to having to stay in on the weekends and as good as both are going forwards defensively they are absolutely shocking in Barca’s case and poor in Madrid’s case. Inter Milan are basically just a poor man’s Arsenal, and further than that the only other relevant team is City who are inconsistent but on their day probably better than Arsenal.

My money’s on Bayern however - Olise is a proper baller and Kane is having the season of his life. Plus they just have quality all over the park

I think generally speaking you have to pay your dues for a few seasons getting very close before you land the CL win.

Arsenal are very good, but you have to handle the pressure in the same way as club's who are used to operating in SFs and finals in that competition can.

Arsenal also need a CF who scores you 25 goals per season at a canter too. They haven't captured one and there's no way Gyokeres is that striker at that level.

CL should be between PSG Bayern and Arsenal if it goes by quality of what’s been seen so far this season. City could beat anyone on their day but aren’t favourites. A lot will depend on the draw as always.

He pushed for a move on deadline day and supposedly said he wouldn’t play if we didn’t give him his move.

'Supposedly' is doing a fair bit of heavy lifting here. Played the majority of his career with us, then left and won a few cups

Don't remember that at all. I'd be pissing myself if someone did it against anyone else TBF

JUDAS!

Both Arsenal and City seem to have their intensity back this season, which is what was lacking last year, whereas the rs have lost theirs and you can see what a difference it makes in the Premier League.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will be in the shake up with one or both reaching the SFs.

They invariably find a way.

Chelsea are in a great position to kick on.

I like their crop of players and they've shown they dont give a flying one for reputations at the Club World Cup.

They might need a top class coach to take them to the title or CL again though.

Loved him as a player, not so much as a manager though.

If they don't fall out with each other, Chelsea should definitely win a couple of championships in the next 5 years.
