Arteta is finally going to win a title isn't he?

Totally deserved after ~£500m net spend over 5 seasons, miraculous really.

To be fair, they waited how many years to spend big ? a very long time, they spent well over a decade not spending big due to the stadium costs and during this time they still maintained themselves as a regular champs league team, going up against teams spending bigger them.

I say fair enough, spend big now, they've waited long enough and unlike most teams they seem to spend their money pretty well, they are also very good at bringing through talented young players although being in London and having access to a huge talent pool no doubt helps that. I think they are a very well run club tbh.

More work Wenger deserves far far more credit for than he will ever get, to run a club with that level of responsibility as a manager judged on trophies and win ratios is remarkable. He built that club in its modern state

Let me put it this way - if he doesn't win the title from here then he never will.
They need to make a sensible decision and get out of that CL competition.

They're not good enough to win it just yet anyway and it'll hand them the type of injury list that'll threaten their PL title hopes.

Actually done very well and until this summer on a comparatively small budget to other top teams? Brought a lot of young players through as well

Biggest thing is the somewhat immeasurable connection between team and the fans, something podcasters and commentariat fail to mention. Klopp did it at Mordor, Frank, Howe, Conte all good at it, very underrated facet of being a good modern manager is forging that link

Emirates used to be a library only full of EFL chants, now is a proper atmosphere. Does a lot, that

Personally want them to do it. Hate City as a plastic club and obvs the RS. Mums side of the family are all gooners and were the sexiest team for me growing up (Henry etc all). Were it not for my old man taking me to Goodison as a 6 year old id probably be one of them

Grew up on Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljungberg, Vieira, G.Silva, Cole and the rest. When you're young and football mad I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy watching them. I have personally never had an issue with Arsenal unless we are playing them.

They could have done it last year if they didn't have the injuries imo. Their squad is now able to cope with a few players out. If they can keep their key players on the pitch I think they will win it pretty comfortably. City and Chelsea have a slip up in them and the RS are already too far behind to recover.

It's Arsenals to lose atm - but it's early days yet.

They look like Champions to me.

Liverpool would have been champions this season if they'd even been remotely decent, as the officials would have handed it to them again. But not even they can carry that lot over the line and still retain any credibility in doing so.

Arsenal are head and shoulders above anything else in this league.

It’s an inherent bias in view point that the media and most fans seem to have that when United or Liverpool spend big money it’s absolutely acceptable but when anyone else does it then all the spend tables start coming out and all achievements look to be devalued based on how much money they’ve spent.

All of the sky six can pretty much spend whatever they want and currently Arteta is spending Arsenal’s money better than the other managers are spending their club’s.

People go on about Liverpool’s recruitment but where’s the credit for buying Saliba Gabriel Calafiori Timber Raya Zubimendi Odegaard Martinelli.

Apart from Rice Eze and Gyokeres, most of the rest haven’t been ‘obvious’ signings that they spent tons on. They’ve recruited much better than City and Liverpool have in the same period.

I think they are good enough to win it tbf.

Probably in the best 3 teams in Europe alongside Bayern and PSG. Will be interesting to see what happens on Wednesday
