I visited The Louvre and was completely taken by the paintings of Caravaggio. Wife had to drag me away.

Nice. Been a while since I looked, but can remember liking a lot of Picasso’s early works. Like just about all his work.The first (1896) and last (1972)) self-portraits by Pablo Picasso.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, I should know. lol
A fair bit actually. Christmas fairs are a good money maker. Tend to find it’s easier to sell small pieces but I prefer going big. Last painting I did was 30x40 inches but would struggle to sell it as for it to be worth my while I’d want £3-£400 for it.

How long does something like that take?
Probs about 10 hours in total. Maybe a bit more. You have to wait for paints to dry and come back to it. Canvas and paint probs cost about £120.
Personally believe anyone can learn. Been teaching a few mates on Zoom since first lockdown who’ve never painted before and it’s surprising how quickly people progress with just a few simple techniques and practice. Plenty of good tutorial videos on YouTube.
