I lost interest in him when he claimed he wanted to play for Barcelona.then it changed to Spurs so he really means I will play for who ever pays me the most .nothing wrong with that but why try and fool the fans I was also concerned they way he disappeared in the one game that got physical so what would happen in the Prem?

He's a victim of his own success. Before the summer hardly anyone was aware of him. I think we would have signed him for less than £8m at that time. Then, he plays a blinder and his club look to cash in. Suddenly his head is turned by Barcelona, then Arsenal and then Tottenham (the last because he's hoping for a big a pay rise). His age is against him and I suspect that she'll tay in Russia until he retires. Sad, really.

I think Advocaat was saying that Spurs only offered 16M euros for the lad and not the 22M reported.

So, we could get close to that, couldn't we?

After seeing him in yesterdays match, I think he could bring something worthwhile to our team.
