Arsene Wenger on the loan system

Not sure about 2013-2014 payrolls, but for 2012-13:

Arsenal - 143,000,000 pounds (4th in the league)
Everton - 63,000,000 pounds (10th in league)

Whinger just wants to keep any advantage the big clubs have to squash the rest of the league under their bloated cankle heel.

My guess is so many of these big clubs and managers are terrified of being exposed as the frauds they are if competition were on even footing like American football.

Easy to make CL year after year when you outspend the living crap out of 15 of 20 teams you play against.

The loan system IS wrong loan arrangements are a sop by football authorities to skirt the real issue of the monied crew stock piling talent. It's bordering on fraud sending decent players out to damage your rivals but not play against you.

Of course Wenger wouldn't say a word if he was in our position the fact he can splash 40 million on one player and pay industry leading wages while others can't is equally reprehensible.

Chop his bolix off and shove them in his gob today blue boys.

Wengers moan for 2 reasons
1 he is scared of us
And
2 he asked Chelsea for BA and they said no, then we loaned Lukaku, Mourihno not thick he knew what he was doing, giving us Lukaku has worked in his favour making us a better team and took points off his rivals.

He's right the loan system main benefit is usually to the mega rich clubs, it's not been done before where a club from the top 6 has taken advantage of it though. If you allow a player out on loan and he's not part of your plans for a season the borrowing club should have the right to choose when and against who he plays. He's not saying the clubs shouldn't be allowed to loan players in, he's saying make it a level playing field.

The real problem is that the mega rich clubs hoover up all the talent regardless of whether or not all these players are required. There then in a position where it's impossible to appease all their players they have and need to find a solution to getting them actually playing competitive football. If clubs are stopped from stockpiling players this wouldn't be a problem.

He's got a point but he's not really having a dig at us, he's just saying the current loan system gives Chelsea/man city an unfair advantage, which is true, however slight that advantage is.

He'd have a point if City or Chelsea deliberately bought these players to then loan them out and directly hurt rivals. Truth is, Barry has been key as City for years, and Chelsea have been expecting Lukaku to be the next drogba. If City sign Falcao then loan him to us he'd have a point like.

a far more dangerous issue is the hoarding of players by the likes of chelsea. They have 29 players on loan FFS

Think he is getting his excuses in early like ?

I wouldn't go that far. We've had plenty of false dawns at Everton over the past decade or so, where we've thought we're on the cusp of great things, only for the big game to be a damp squid. The cup match against Arsenal for instance, or even the derby game at Anfield.

We are obviously challenging Arsenal but I'm going to hold back on bigging us up to much. The side need to learn how to win the crunch games. That's a big challenge, and we'll see how much they've learned from those defeats earlier in the season today.

There has been 82 articles now accumulated complaining about Everton and their loans if that's true, you sometimes wonder and think that we are the only team that have loans the way the press or whatever go on about us,our loans have worked out very well, not our fault if others have not been lucky.

Was meant to be a joke mate, but yes I do agree with what you say, and I hope we have learned that playing the nice guy against the so called Sky 4 doesn't work in our favour.
