Anyway what I was gonna say was, do we really want new stadiums, champions league football and all that comes with it.

Quiet stadiums, polite respectful reticent fans willing to pay the £90 admission?

Becoming a global brand rather than something that evolved from the community?

I dunno, but looking at the crowd when Walcott scored a very good goal to take them through to the knock out stages of the European big cup, honestly, you see more passion at Goodison when someone gets a freekick in the centre circle.

my thoughts exactly.

The other problem with arsenal style success is all the diving nancy boys wearing gloves, snooks/snudes whatever they call em and stockings.

They'd look cooler if they had bobbly hats, dressing gowns, hot water bottles and cups of lemsip, cradling teddy bears, sucking on one thumb whilst mummy gives them a hug to keep them nice and cosy and warm.

I see Pienaar's been wearing the gloves. Another reason to get rid.
