Arsenal vs Everton

I'm not going to bang on about David Moyes like a lot of other people do. I'm glad he's staying and we were just not good enough today overall. We tried hard especially the first half but Arsenal always had the extra gear. We just have to take the positives and know we can do much better. It was always going to be tough today.

I agree, he should have changed it earlier, thats the only stick i will beat him with. Loving the knee-jerk reaction about his abiltity tho.

It's called tactics, he's proven time and time again that he can't change a game.

He's got his postives but he's also got his weaknesses. We've seen this alot of the time throughout his career here, he doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes.

He'd make a great deputy, someone who doesn't have to think for himself, but just pursues the plan. As a main man, he's getting found to be unadaptable. He needs some type of trendy course to teach him to throw caution to the wind. That or a kick up the arse from Bill and a stern lecture on what is expected for £17m.

Yes i agree, he aint perfect, i just hate it when ppl say he cant compete at the next level. At times he is too slow to make a change, but too many players went missing 2nd half and clearly he should have made changes earlier than he did.

Agreed completely, some people just won't critisise him though. I like him but he was awful today and he doesn't seem to be learning from quite obvious mistakes.

We mixed it up well in the first half, we still hoofed it at times. The second half is just what Moyes is all about, sit back and get rid. He can't get these players playing possession football. He doesn't know how to.

Hibbert played well, people will look for a scapegoat though. Moyes is the man people should be looking at.

You've gotta hoof it sometimes, which is what we did 1st half whan we had to -- Arsenal we're the worst at it, made us look like Brazil with their long balls. But I thought we looks solid, passed well, had a few chances.

2nd half everything just went out of the window. Reminded me of last years game at Goodison. Shape went, passing went, creativity went. Defence looked good today, stopped them getting into the box, minus the 2nd goal everything they did were long shots. They could get through unless the punted it over the defence.

Howard - Made some great saves, looks like getting back on form.

Hibbert - MOM for me hahaha

Jags - Kept Adabyour quiet, solid.

Lescott - solid, made some important challanges.

Baines - solid again, but Walcott's pace is something else and struggled.

Arteta - quiet game. Good set-pieces.

Fellaini - Great game. Some sloppy touches but won most of his
headers, threat in the box, had two players on him, tackled, got forward, we lacked his presence when he came off.

Rodwell - very good game, kept Van Persie quiet, covered space well. Became lost in the 2nd half, should've been replaced early in the second half but Fellaini looked injured.

Osman - did well with his goal, snapped at heals. Arsenal's pace in midfield made him fade out of the game.

Pienaar - skinned Song all game, less so in the 2nd half.

Yak - held the ball well, got about a bit. Didnt do anything after his chance in the second half.

Overall, great 1st half, [Poor language removed] 2nd half. Moyes didnt know what to do, what to change. Hibbert looked solid, Fellaini looks great.

I think Saha should be given a start over Yak. Yak seems to be just there because of his strength. But Saha can hold the ball up, like he did today, but also has plenty of skill to take on players.

We'll beat manure next week!!!! hahaha ( i wish).

There's a big difference between us and Arsenal, Fabregas was passing long and looking for his targets. We just hit and hope.

I agree he should've made some changes earlier. But our bench aint filled with players that can change games.

Yeah putting Saha on gives you something upfront, but the midfield couldnt keep the ball in the second half and their paced out did us all over the park.

As usual the heads went down, the hoof came out. Fellaini took a knock and couldnt get up and down. We dropped deep on the left because of Walcott so Pienaar couldnt get forward. Arteta didnt get forward on the right.

And also the game changed big time. When Hibbert got that yellow he was on thin ice and had to come off, Fellaini was injured and had to come off. Rodwell was looking lost as the game went on so the midfield was low on bodies. All you had was Neville but he had to come on at RB. Castillo would've been nice on the bench, I'm sure he would've came on if he was fit.
