aye, computers been [Poor language removed] for a month or so, just got round to sorting it out(y)

have i missed anything?

Nah, not really.

The usual banter. More positives than negatives to be sure this season. Now that you've got the computer fixed, I expect we'll see a lot more of you now.

Good to see you inertia.

Why's everyone getting excited by these Pienaar rumours? Its from the Daily Mail which is no better than Tribal Footie lately. The same Daily Mail who broke the story of our double bid for Alan Smith and Keiron Richardson in the summer. Its lazy internet journalism trying to get to you use their site. Speaking of which: heres a prime example.

Pienaar will sign, and if he doesnt then he's alway been [Poor language removed] and Fernandes has better cornrows.

I don't think Pienaar would be overly tempted to go elsewhere.

He's become an integral part of a team whose supporters back him 100%. In addition, he's playing for a team on the up, not on the down.

I couldn't think of a better place for a young player to ply their trade.

I think we've seen too many examples lately of players going to one of the "bigger" clubs only to find the competition for places too fierce and the player ending up outside of the first 11. Yeah, they get better wages but I'd guarantee you with the exception of Carlo Cudicini, every player would be willing to take a bit less if it meant more playing time.

By this "examples" are you referring to the other dude with the cornrows on the payroll mate?

Hows the weather in Texas pal?

Haha..

Believe it or not, no.

I was thinking more of SWP, Sidwell, Walcott, etc...

To be fair, SWP has really come on as of late but he sure had to wait awhile to get into the first team. Walcott's only in due to injuries. Why be a highly paid sub when you can be a really well paid first teamer?

I think some players make that move a little too early in their careers. David Bentley said he had to get away from Arsenal to find first team football and it's helped him but that's just one example.

Weather in Texas? Typical. Looks like it's gonna rain this afternoon. We have a saying here though.

"If you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes cause it's gonna change."

Gotta go pick up the minivan for the wife, just plunked out some hard earned cash for four new tires. Ughhh...

Aye, good point about Bentley there - he's turned into some player. I know they get labelled as greedy but the likes of Sidwell took a pay day and you can't blame him for that, we'd all like an employer daft enough to overpay us. We'd all like to think its against the Moyes ethos that he talks about but reality is that loyalty is long gone in football.

Been watching CNN and seen the bizarre weather you've been having over there, its unbelievable. You planning vacation anywhere nice this year?

I never blame a player for taking an increased wage deal.

As long as the player understands that he may not player near as much as he'd like to and that could hurt his future potential.

Gonna drive up to Colorado week of July 4 and then gonna go to Disneyworld in Oct. Flying to FL. though.

With the way the markets are going, I ought to just take a vacation for the rest of the year...

I agree on the loyalty but then I applaud players like Hibbert and Osman who've been with us for as long as they've been and possibly could have had their agents try to engineer moves elsewhere for an improved pay deal.

Contrary to popular belief, its a benefit having players like Osman, Carsley and Hibbert in the squad.

A mate of mine who moved to Canada is doing a huge road trip across the states this summer, its something I would love to do.

The market slump will be with us for some time yet I suspect, I pity those who've put the lot on stocks & shares.

That is a good time. Make sure you take I-40 across so you can see all the good Route 66 derelicts, the USA's biggest cross in Texas and the Grand Canyon, a sight you just have to see with your own eyes that no camera will ever do justice.

Or you could do I-90 and see stuff like Mount Rushmore. Either way, something you should do.

The Boy Azul strikes again.

Particularly enjoyed the pervert Wenger comment. Quality.

Would be a great signing.

The midfield of:

Carsley
Pienaar-Osman-Arteta
Cahill

is a joy to watch.

Not only does Ste have technical ability but has a brilliant work ethic.

it maybe a joy to watch in games to inferior sides, but against the big guns they have failed every time...we need, height strength and leadership. however i am not saying dont sign pienaar he's good. but that particular set up aint good enough in my eyes
