if we beat arsenal it will put us 6 points clear of arsenal with a game in hand and reduce the goal difference between the teams, 6 points ahead of leeds with a game in hand and a better goal difference effectively making it 7 points and 8 points above aston villa

its a very important game in terms of creating a bit of a gap between us and arsenal, leeds and villa who are not that far behind us

at the same time a win would also put us within 3 points of 4th place although it is technically 4 points when you consider our goal difference compared to the sides in the top 4
