All of last season's top 8 played. Hopefully now we can get ourselves into the last 8 of the cup and back in the top half over the next week or so.

We just lose to these teams including the RS all the time. We never show up even at home.

never show up? that's harsh. these teams have £20m players on their benches. it's what separates top top class footballers from very good ones, those who have the right personality and confidence at the highest pressure moments. we can't afford a squad like that sadly.

Only exception was Galloway again who had another very good game.

This is Moyesesque utter garbage brand of football. If this is what the philosophy is then we need to be worried.

No throughballs, no wing play no passing. Just a bunch of talented footballers going about needing luck to score.

We made three clear chances in the second half, mate.

One was poorly taken, one hit the bar and the other was well saved.

Everton lack ideas. Too slow passing throughout the game and bad decisions in the final third. Gave it go towards the end but missing that player who can cut apart the defense. Thought a point was there for the taking before the game. Thought with 20 minutes to go it was still there.

Need to go on a run now that this part of the schedule is done.

If we played like we did in the second half the entire game we would've won this comfortably. Jagielka is done. Mori looks an absolute gem. We need a new GK, Robles will do for the time. Martinez take a bow you got your tactics spot on, especially in the second.

Played well there.Barry will only miss Norwich. Hopefully jags not to badly injured although TBF Mori seems decent. Deulofeu has to start V Sunderland and we have to win no matter what.

This fixture, away to Arsenal...we just nearly lost all of them by a big score since the inception of PL. Before the match I think we would lose and unfortunately it happens.

Please Martinez, play Kev and Del from now on not Nais and Lennon.

Good game though...right, I'm off to follow up on the brilliant All Blacks victory...hard lines Everton, better team won but we will (I believe) still be in 5th-8th place contention come season end. Important we win against the lesser PL teams

Better 2nd half, could hardly have been worse, but they had about 5 good chances to score more and easily deserved the win. As usual of late we don't start playing until we've conceded. This KITAP1 taken to an extreme.
