im surprised alot are downbeat, i like arsenal but they arent a super threat at all. press their defense and they are easily shook

I agree but the bit in bold is why we won’t get anything as we’ll set up camp with 9 outfield players lined us across our 18 yard box inviting them on to us.

If we press high they run past us, if we sit deep they pass it past us.
If only it was a game of musical statues when we play these.

Let's be realistic, if we go gung-ho with a press we are probably going to play right into their hands leaving oceans of space for Ozil etc.

Lots of fans on here seem to think if we attack we'll win, which is strange because every team who gets something from the Emirates usually invites Arsenal onto them then counter attacks when they inevitably commit too many forward.

My least favourite fixture, these are not playing well at the minute, if ever a time has come to end our away day hoodoo why not now whilst Arsenal are floundering.

So 3-1 to Arsenal probably.

Had a dream we were one nil up at Palace away cos of an own goal. They had 9 men, with twenty to go they got a pen and we drew 1-1. It's the most Everton dream I've ever had.

History is not on our side
Everton's away record v current top six since Feb 2011:
Played 43
Won 1
Drawn 14
Lost 28
Scored 28
Conceded 82
Points 17/129

Worst record of any team - fewer wins than Fulham, Norwich and Wigan in that time period, and they've not been in the PL for most of that time!

Shocking, that's the real reason we can't beat 7th place.
