I just find it funny how people make assumptions that he's just going to be better than the likes of gray. He couldn't get a look in at spurs when they were struggling massively. Gray is a player who has been inconsistent but when he's had spells where he's been on it, he's been really good.
What is it about Danjuma that makes him automatically better than Gray then? Maybe he will suit Dyches style more, but just because he's being signed now doesn't automatically mean he will be better than a player who did OK for us.
He couldn’t get a look in at spurs because they had Kane, Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski who are all top forwards and they knew he was only a short term loan so surely you’d want to build your own players where you can if it’s close who would do better
He is stronger, faster, more skilful, better at finishing, played at a higher level than Gray. I remember Gray scoring some lovely goals but I can’t remember him making the champions league team of the season
Danjuma is a good profile of player for us, one who’s been amongst the best but had a disappointing season so their stock isn’t too high for us to bring in right now. He also has premier league experience scoring goals in a poor Bournemouth side
