A cancellation and loaning out someone else would be ideal... Would allow us to now get 1 domestic loan and 1 from abroad. Buy 1 player and thats at least 3 new faces.

Think we could have a couple of loans from abroad anyway, but as you say least we can get someone in from the PL if we cancel his loan.

…..I thought he’s certainly the best striker we had on the books. I still think that but it was a huge risk signing him and it’s backfired. People in the club are paid lots of money to get these things right.

….of course we wish him well, but it’s not ‘unlucky’ signing players recovering from serious injury with a dreadful injury record.

It’s symptomatic of how blinkered and restricted our identification of targets is.

Also problem of being skint and having to gamble - hopefully the new owners will be more ambitious !

I might be over-simplifying things and obviously there's his wages to sort with Chelsea, but do we not just free a loan spot up anyway by not registering him for January onwards?

Won't his wages be covered by his injury/insurance cover?

Imperative that we make moves to end his loan immediately and free that spot, assuming that's doable. It could well be critical.

Someone else will come in. No way can you just go with Beto and DCL for rest of the season. Chermiti won't be available until March and again he's young, unproven and hardly played this season.

No it’s not fact. Said there’s a possibility he might go back, needs to be negotiated.

Don’t believe they have insurance for short term injuries, possible if injured on international duty think then fifa may pay wages I could be wrong tho.

I thought because he was injured we weren't paying his wages. Maybe it was until he got on the pitch. Maybe I just imagined it all
