May offer sightly more than DCL but will still be extremely limited in this team with Dyche in charge.

Unless at least one huge improvement is brought in on the wings any striker we put up there won't reach anywhere near his potential.

It's really down to the club if they want to comfortably avoid relegation (bring in at least 1 quality attacking player ASAP) or run the risk of relegation by not strengthening the side.

Our results over the calendar year with this squad clearly suggest we're currently headed for a tight battle to stay up - that shouldn't be acceptable to the new board and it ought to have been obvious before they bought us what needs doing.

Had some good touches and played a really nice ball to Doucoure? at one point. Looked strong on the ball and more of a Dyche player. Tough gig though and it’s easier to look better as a sub sometimes.

Think he should start the next game though.

Came on, got involved and tried to make things happen. Dropped deep to collect the ball and drive us upfield with teammates around him so they counter attacked together rather than him being stood up top on his own chasing his own knockdowns. Showed a willingness to play in the system the manager plays rather than expecting it all to revolve around him and definitely deserves to start ahead of Calvert-Lewin now he's built up some match fitness.

No reason not to give him a full run out next match to see. Hes clearly fit, DCL clearly doesnt care, pretending that the jogging DCL does is irreplaceable in our quest for 0-0 would be crazy.

But crazy is the warm sweater we wrap ourselves in.
