It’s exactly what I mean when I say substitutes have an opportunity to impress, it was a terrific cameo.

In our predicament I’m not sure Dyche will change things much but he might just have been right when he said ‘we don’t have the right personnel to pkay two up front’. The introduction of this fella changes that as he could link with DCL.

It’ll be a good sign if we won’t see much of Beto again.

…that’s a very fair point. When Dyche said he didn’t have the personnel to play 4-4-2, he might well also be alluding to those who play behind the two strikers.

Thinking about it, it wouldn’t work in a 4-4-2, but I think it could potentially work playing wingbacks in a 5-3-2. Young on the left, Patterson on the right.

….DCL played well last night and was excellent against them last season. VvD is playing well but I think he’d much prefer to be up against Broja than DCL.
