What fans have to accept which they clearly won't is that we no longer back the manager but we back the project. There is zero point turning on Silva 2 months in because he doesn't really matter. Yes he is the manager but the real driving force is brands now and that's who we need to back. The hope from the club will be that both brands and Silva are a partnership that does bring success and hopefully they fall in line with each other. But as fans, the point that this is no longer a one season plan in place needs to be highlighted before they all start booing and feeling nothing has changed.

Everything has changed at the club , but we are 1 month into a much bigger plan that will determine whether we can go from being the Everton of old or the Everton we want to be. So we take the defeats , the cup exits and the crap from usual suspects in the short term because we can only hope 2 years from now the whole DNA of the club has changed b

WHAT WE NEED IS A LEADER
Preferably more than one

Right now I still have faith in Brands & Silva.. they must see that we have no spine throughout the whole club nevermind team.. lack of leaders on and off allows the ever decreasing attitude of individuals over the past 3 seasons

lol

since when are glorified scouts the driving force behind club's successes?

bonkers stuff

CBA with this Everton team or the new ownership or management structure. It's all just a complete mess, which I thought Kenwright was being ultra cautious to avoid us finding ourselves in this situation.

I am a bit.
Confidence is key, and I can't see us having much at the moment. New blood coming in could bring a change though.

Dont think anyone is turning on Silva, and this idea that we as fans have to wait an unending amount of years just doesnt wash anymore. We need radical change now on the playing side...not tomorrow or next year....now

It's going to take at least two seasons to sought this mess out. I think we're in for a season like Martinez's last if I'm honest. But If we carry on chopping and changing managers we will continue to decline we need to have faith in Silva and Brands to deliver a vision and ethos. But they must fill key areas first or we could seriously be in bigger trouble.

We have been poor for at least 18 months now or even longer.

We all cried out years ago for investment and to sign players for big money. Unfortunately we have our investment and spending power when the league below the top 6 is a lot more even.

All teams now are spending serious cash on players. West Ham for instance have spent nearly £100 million.

Identifying and sighning the right players will be the difference for being safe to being in danger. As we witnessed last season. We only got out of that because we had the best person for turning teams around at the helm.

We won’t have that next season, so if we do really struggle again it will be a massive concern as to how we get out of it.
