ForeverEverton

Player Valuation: £50m
sign players hence we are turning our attention to Paul Scholes.

Scholes is past it and absolutely rubbish, we need to show more ambition than that or we will struggle to keep our best players.

We're not struggleing to sign players, the transfer window opened Weds!

Dont understand why people are panicing.

To be fair to the doom and gloom lot, we could have had players ready to register on July 1st. Effectively, the club has gone 6 weeks without showing any sign of bring people in.

I take your point mate, we have got players in though Anton Peterlin, Shkodran Mustafi and Luke Garbutt. Im sure on other clubs forums there saying Everton have already signed three good youth players for the future.

Im confident if the club are identifying, negotiating and signing players at this level they are doing the same at Senor level to. Indications are that we were strongly in for Owen and Mbia, while we also have quotes about being in for Defour as well. Seems like the club is being active to me. If i was to put a bet on id say there will be a signing before the 15th of this month, but i wouldnt panic if there wasnt.

It still very, very early and there is absolutley no need to panic. Fact is i thnk a lot of clubs look closely at what we do hoping to gazump us for a new Arteta or Pienaar that we may look at, so i understand the club protraying the cloak and dagger secrecey stuff.

Not even a little worried.

Everton's negotiating position:

"£40,000 pw. See that, that's your lot. But we do have Europa League football if we get past the last round of qualifiers. Form an orderly queue."

It is still early days but if Moyes wanted Owen he has missed that ship now, we can only deduce he wasnt that keen or we would have got him to sign a pre contract agreement. Before ManUre came in for him.

Suppose I`m just a bit anxious with Citeh signing some good players I cant see us competing with them or the top 4. So is it 6th at best then???

Cant see Moyes accepting this and if things dont change in the next year or so I think he will go..........................But I dont want him to!!!!

If Moyes was capable of bringing in the targets he wants, he would have had them rapped up before the window opened.

I don't want to have another player who gets the excuse "He hasn't had a proper pre season yet" every time he has a bad game.

What's the problem with negotiating deals early? Oh wait, that isn't the Everton way.

Surely there has to be money for moyes otherwise i doubt he would have signed his contract,i just hope its not a joke of a summer like last season was,we cant be that skint can we?,if wolves can spend 6m on a player why cant we?,it dont make sense.

The simple reason is, we are skint.

I have fears for thar too and I don't think he will be the only one. The ambition has to be the same on and off the pitch.:(
