Are we in a relegation battle right now?

Are we relegationally challenged?

  • No, too early in season, over 38 games there will be at least 3 crapper teams

points wise it will take everything to go seriously badly for about entire month or two (as in no wins for us and all the clubs below us winning a few) for us to drop into relegation. no way are we heading down this season. if we didnt get those pens and lucky wins when sam first came, we would have been in and amongst it, but not now.

the problem is, will this become the norm for us? we dont have any decent players to sell any more, so unless moshiri puts his hands in his pockets (Haha!) I can see us struggling for a while.

we are a mid table side with mid table players

we need to get lucky buying unknown players from abroad who go onto be good enough for a top 4 side

biggest problem we have is a midfield with no creativity or pace

The bottom 3 this year are better placed than last year and have all renewed managers (or Stoke will shortly) so no room for error. WBA are 19th and if we lose to them we will be 5pts ahead of them.

Need to win against rubbish teams at home. Sadly that’s the level we’re at, if we’re away from home or against the top 6 these spineless cowards will not perform. We need Goodison to see us to safety then end some careers in the summer. One of the most unprofessional squads we’ve had in the prem era. Perhaps the worst for attitude given the talent some of the players have.

There’s no way that 9 of the teams below is are all finishing above us.

I’m nowhere near as worried as I was before the West ham game

All those saying we will stay up because there are worse teams than us can take confidence from todays Bournmouth result.

Maybe you should be,we go into.next weeks game on the back of a drubbing,WBA on the back of their first win in an age, also knowing that with half decent finishing they should have turned us over only a few weeks ago.
