Are we in a relegation battle right now?

Are we relegationally challenged?

  • No, too early in season, over 38 games there will be at least 3 crapper teams

Still in a battle imo but 3 points from our next 2 games should see us ease home over the next month. The mad thing is we could easily finish 7th this season, which could sneak us into Europe. But with yet more upheaval in the summer, do we want it next season? We will have loads of players leaving and several incomings: surely both Williams and Jagielka, Kenny, Sandro, Mirallas (both on loan atm) Baines will likely be replaced, we will probably get another wide player in and a new centre half too. A super early pre-season and an unsettled team could be another recipe for disaster. Let's finish 8th, get our deals done early and attack the domestic competitions next season.

I want Europe next season.

And every season.

That win looks like we are now all but safe. I don't like to get too overconfident where Everton are concerned but we genuinely need about 6 points to be clear of what the bottom 3 will end up on. 1 win and 3 draws from 13 remaining or 2 wins.

From 14th down, none of them have achieved a rate of taking even 1 point from 3 so far and all 6 would have to improve on that taking 13 from 39 to get to 37 points, and in Southampton, Swansea and West Brom's case, even better than that.

My lad did Walcott 3-1 at 135/1. He was cursing Niasse after his bad misses in the first half and every time we got in the box was shouting shoot. He did win £50 on both teams to score, yes or no.
There was queue's at the bookies, in the ground,, popular bet on Theo it seems.
