Are we all agreed that brewdog beers taste 💩?

I drink that wingman and think it’s ok out of a can. What’s the best bitter/Ipa you can get in a can? I mainly drink at home. Can’t stand lager.

My local independent offy can do nice ones. Independent breweries and the like. There’s a great one from Wigan that I can’t remember the name of. Unfortunately he’s gone all fruity beers in the last couple of years so I don’t buy from him anymore. He told me it sells better. I don’t want mango ipa ffs. Shame because even though it came in a can it was as good as draughty almost. You don’t get that with the mass produced stuff. No idea why like.

Yeah I noticed. It’s 6% I think. That’s a bit much for me tbh cause I like to have a few. I guess you just have to oace yourself a bit more. You do notice it though drinking the stronger stuff. I learnt the hard way with the Belgians back in th3 day 😂

Jaipur was originally my wedding guest beer, but had to take it off because it was too strong.

Big fan though. Cant help but go for it whenever I see it.

I tried their non-alcoholic ales and didn't like them, so I tried their regular stuff and didn't like that either. In my view the only non-alcoholic beer that's worth drinking is Guinness 0.0. :pint2:

It`s not Bank Top brewery is it, they`re inbetween Bolton and Wigan ?

There`s a tiny little pub I often stay at in Cumbria, which always has at least one of their beers on, which is how I got onto them,

Really nice stuff and I`ve bought a few cases of their bitter over the years.

I have completely gone off IPAs and ales now. Big fan of stout and porters though.. but you can beat a decent cold lager or pilsner imo!!

Also like a good whisky!

A lot of IPA`s are massively over hopped for some reason and are almost like drinking " hop bombs ", the abv seems to have been ramped up at the same time too.

I tend to look for the lower abv ones now, as you know that they`re not going to blow you`re head off and make you pull funny faces when you drink them !
