I think they probably should be docked some points, but I think there is a situation where if the punishment is severe, they may as well crash the whole deck of cards.

None of them have actually pulled out of the ESL yet. It’s just mothballed. Clobber them too hard and ESL may be their best alternative.

First Round (12 teams) - losers have no CL place next season and fined £25 million
Second Round (6 teams) - losers have no CL place next season
Penultimate Round (2 teams) - the two lowest scoring winners play each other, the loser fined £25 million, the winner going through to the final
Final (2 Teams) - the winner of the PR and the highest scoring winner from the second round play each other, the winner gets a bottle of Aldi champagne but the loser gets nothing

I'm now not arsed if they go, what will remain will be more like the football we know from beards ago. I'm getting rather bored about the hype over the same sides. They have fixed it so that the natural cycle of teams doing well for a period before go back to being meh has been distorted and is getting boring.
Let them have their seasons of exhibition games, that'll be even more boring.
