'punishing the fans' has never EVER been used as a reason to not punish clubs before!!

They have to be so careful with this because of the legal precendent it sets. If they give a punishment here that doesn’t impact the fans, then the next time a club breaks FFP they can’t throw down a European ban, it wasn’t the fans who broke FFP was it?

They’ll find it impossible to hold up something here that isn’t then used against them in the future. That’s why I think we’ll either see nothing, or something very harsh that definitely will hit the fans also. it’ll probably be nothing though knowing that lot.

He's probably going to be right though. The unfunny part of all this is if Everton at any point cross any lines, way less consequential than what these did we'd have the book thrown at as and 'be an example' of what happens when you break the rules.
Ah mate they'll get away with a slap on a wrist, I think most are expecting them to not get a heavy punishment myself included, The people who are pedalling the "YA CAN'T PUNISH THE FANS THO" are absolute dunces.

Ok mush, let murderers walk free because in essence if you give them life you’re punishing their children too.
Weird analogy. The fans are responsible for the creation of all these clubs, they are the reason why they exist in the first place. The owners have no connection to the fans. So with this Super League the players, manager, coaching staff and even the chairmen were not consulted about this. Txiki at Man City wasn't even aware of this ESL plan. So why should everyone at the club suffer because of select few greedy individuals who have ZERO connection to these clubs outside of money?

It's a bit like when Abramovich was sanctioned for his Russian/Putin connections; it had nothing to do with any of the fans or the players.
