From where we were in 2016, losing to Iceland Fat Sam think he has done well imo. Got the fans back onside, didnt always pick the media darlings but just lacked that little bit extra to take us to the next level. Back to back finals is not too bad an effort imo

As I said ' didnt always' but tbh, dont think many managers would drop your countries leading goalscorer at a major tournament. Thing is with England is damned if you do, damned if you dont. I am a fan of Southgate for what he has done, but think he stayed on for one tournament too many.

Kane was shot to bits mate. I dont think he bothered one single defender in this tournament. He got paid big bucks to make calls and i think he'll privately regret the loyalty to kane. The semi final against netherlands. The movement from watkins pulling defenders out of position and giving cole palmer the option of a pass. I cant for the life of me work out why he went back to kane in the final.
