Went back today after two weeks off. Gutted I've gotta do it all over again tomorrow.

Thirty degrees here with a gentle breeze rippling the ice lazily across my cold Cranberry Juice as I sit with my feet up flicking through A Clash of Kings and with one thought on whether I should go for a quick dip and another thought for old Mother Blighty, dark and cold and windswept and snowing.

I might need to re-apply here. Getting toasty.

Had nearly 4 weeks off after spending time in hospital with a back injury, was due back on Sunday 4th Jan but had a phonecall on my way to work from the nursing home my mother was very poorly and had been rushed to hospital with pneumonia, sadly she passed away yesterday...NOT BEEN A GREAT XMAS OR NEW YEAR !!!!
