we really do need to update our chants and songs, same old same old, although i hate the RS i do admire how they constantly churn out decent songs we need to get some new ones on the terraces and get goodison bouncing again, far too quiet too often this season for me...maybe its coz we're in awe of the wonderful football displayed before but i think not.:dodgy::unsure::blink::o
 

that bouncy bouncy thing the gers did last night makes the stadium rock, the zenit fans did it 1st then the jockioes showed them how to do it en masse, even the commentator said "how dare they, you dont try to take on the old firm" they were very quiet though on the telly.
we need to get somesort of thing goin'on, the zenit fans also did the arms linking thing shuffling side to side that looks good too.

SINGING THE BLUES is great, we need some sort of thing to go with it and i reckon the bouncey would be a good accompanyment.
THE ROYAL BLUE MERSEY is another thats our own but maybe needs bringing up to date a bit.

The best way of doing it is by cheating.

Think of the best song that other teams have sung that Everton haven't had before and change a few words!

The best one that I can think of is a fairly standard one, and as far as I know we haven't had a version of it, is 'Forever and ever, and usually has the line 'For we won't be mastered, by who, by you 'Cockney' bast***d'.

It's a good tune. Obviously we can change the words. Get rid of swear words, or even add more swear words!

i'll bet most didnt even know there were words to go with our theme tune,
if teams can adopt songs by tom jones etc maybe we can sing this ? after all the tune is synonymous with our club.

i also like the light up my senses that sheff. united sing but reckon we should have our own chants.
a lot will say pahh to the idea of singing etc but until youve been in a stadium when every everton fan is singing their hearts out then really you should have an open mind and give it a try, it gives a sense of togetherness that cant be beaten, thats the thing that people love about aways ...everyone is together .

i'm all for this crowd paticipation stuff (not fire like as the place would burn to the ground 1st time we did it), i draw the line at holding a scarf up but twirling one around gives a good effect too and scarves seen to be making a comeback, maybe blue neon rave thingys would look good at night, thing about it is the clubs seem to encourage it abroad, turning the lights off etc.

maybe danny can ask the club if we can start getting it together to get the grand old lady rocking ?

It would be awesome if the club handed out Blue, White and Amber lightsticks before a big night game.

That would rock.
 

i think we need something, something that the away fans go away and think bloody hell, like u do when u hear them c**ts at the start of a game with the scarves...we need something to intimidate the opponents, i think we're too dated...not sure what exactly

whoever gets to speak to the club should raise it with them, i know clubs abroad do this, a mate who supports olympiakos told me that they even pay for the fanatical fans to travel abroad to ensure a loud fanatical following. cant imagine bill footing the bill for that though.

Also a chant of "we will rock you" - where *2 bangs on feet* *clap* in the gwlayds street, and *2 bangs of feet* *arm up in the air Park End* - Itd be pretty cool...:)
