If it's that intensive, better off with a standalone windows machine? Cheaper way to get a windows license too. Not sure how much Zoo Tycoon consumes though.

Bootcamp itself is fine, you don't lose performance from using it.

However a standalone windows pc with identical specs would perform better, but only because apple under clock their CPU's and GPU's in order to keep heat issues under control due to the way macs are designed (compact tidy design)

I don't think it's worth switching to a standalone pc unless you are a hardcore gamer or need to use PC specific 3D design/video editing software.

yes and a license, unless you're a pirate
