He’s always be strong minded: when in the England U17 setup, he expected to be playing at a higher level; at U21, it was exactly the same.

From people who know him, he is actually a nice lad in many ways, but his attitude can sour when he sets his mind on something.

He will not be happy with not starting regularly, so the ignominy of being subbed as a substitute will really not be something he'll like.

Howe won't like that, but aye this is the lad who refused to train and refused to get onto the team bus for West Ham away, so I am not surprised.
