There was. But no one really knows how much apart from some ITKs saying whatever eyewatering fee it was, was going to be drip fed.

Personally would've took £30mill up front, then any other performance bonuses and sealed the Mudryk and Kudus deals after.

To me the lad looks like he seriously needs to grow up, he looks like a little kid that has spat his dummy out this season.
The interest in him in the summer really didn't help him or his attitude.
It's like it clicked a switch in him and he came back believing he's already made it and doesn't need to prove anything anymore.

He needs someone to sit him down and have a proper honest chat with him. It might be painful to hear but for him to move on as a player he needs to go backwards and realise again that he has to earn his place as a professional.
