Of all the bad business we've down over the years, turning down actual money for Gordon has to be up there with the very worst

They offered us £20 million up front

Who would we have signed to replace him for that?

We’d have been going into a season having just survived relegation with only Gray and McNeil as attacking options out wide, and having lost two forwards instrumental in keeping us up

We could have signed McNeil again, who as we can see yesterday makes all the difference when he plays and Gordon doesnt.

So?

We never paid for any of the players we have just bought upfront?

He's garbage, and one diving little fart as well

Isn't he on track for 10 league goals this season or something? Last year we wanted him to contribute that in goals and assists combined so even though his past couple of performances haven't set the world alight he has shown considerable improvements. He's only 21 and is going to get better.

Something not right with his application this year. I can't put my finger on it but he is not playing at the same intensity as last season.
He was puffing his cheeks after not being on the pitch even 10 mins yesterday, starting to wonder if he needs to go on the klopozade to get through matches. He won't last in any sport if he doesn't sort his fitness management out pretty sharpish.
