Isn't he on track for 10 league goals this season or something? Last year we wanted him to contribute that in goals and assists combined so even though his past couple of performances haven't set the world alight he has shown considerable improvements. He's only 21 and is going to get better.

Ten goals would be a good return, very good even for his second season. We’d need a few others to chip in with figures like that.

What a shambolic, half arsed attempt at a subs performance that was last night. There was a moment where we won the ball in midfield and Patterson needed someone to overlap, Gordon just walking into picture 15 yards behind him.

Embarrassing for a professional footballer to just be walking when you are supposed to be one of the attacking players taking responsibility

It stood out last season because he was the only one running for 90mins in the side.

This season I've seen him not bother tracking back and arguing with his fullback. Loses the ball easily. Barely crosses or creates anything.

He has tenacity (see his yellow cards this season). But in a team that creates very little, that tenacity fizzles out when all he has to do is get the ball, run down the wing, cross it.and doesn't

We’d have been going into a season having just survived relegation with only Gray and McNeil as attacking options out wide, and having lost two forwards instrumental in keeping us up

…not sure about that, Andy. A good player finds a way to link, you know your teammate & you you work out how to play to each other’s strengths regardless of what your best position is.

i think Gordon’s mentality is lots about what he can do when the ball is played into him. He wants to be a top p,Ayer and tries to do something to prove he’s good. I think he needs to simplify his game and just try and be effective.

I dont thinkt hat directly links with partnerships though. Gray I dont want anywhere near the team but Gordon needs to be in and out of it until he finds that consisentcy fo when to be simple, when to attack directly etc.

It's hard to link up with your full back when they dont get forward though, I dont think we will see any winger link with a full back apart from Patterson, who actively wants to attack and be involved.

As much as our attack is dreadful, our midfield dont seem to be cohesive either, which I put donw to how they are being laid out rather than the three individuals. Our attack improves if Patterson and Mykolenko get forward with more bravery, how that affects our defence....

We can't go every game knowing we can defend but cant attack, we wont get enough points, simple as that.

He needs a reality check. His performances are abysmal and he's not as good as he thinks.
