Anichebe

Would like to see him shoot abit more, you know when he runs at the defence and that, he did today from the right of the box, not a bad shot.

Im excited by Anichebe, if he keeps his work rate up he can be a top player

To be fair though, inbetween 10-15 goals a season is pretty decent. Not many strikers have done that here over the last few years.

Anichebe's never come close to it, for one. But he's got 6 this season already as a reserve so you've got to say in the form he can get you ten easy if he started every week.

God knows how long this form will last, mind. But my point was he's a Zamora, Heskey type of player, he'll chip in with goals but he won't score the totals a poacher does. It's not his game.

Thought it was a poor shot myself, straight at the keeper.

Anichebe has finally won me over. When he first started playing well, I thought it was all form and he would fade but he has proven himself this past year. He has scored some really classy goals and made a great contribution to the team with his hold up play and bullying. Get in Vic!

That turn of his is becoming his signature move ;)

It's like we DID sign a new 1st team player in January...keep it up Vic

always said there was a player in there somewhere and he'd come good

Worked hard and played well yesterday. Worked hard without much success against WBA. Went missing a bit against Bolton ( but wasn't on his own doing that ).

Along with Coleman at right back, Vic is proving me wrong. All we need now is Naismith to start turning it on and I'll have a full set.

So he's playing well, scoring a few goals and looking a bit more like the player we'd hoped he'd be few years ago and NOT playing right mid?

Cool. Lets just see how long he A :keeps up this good form and attitude up for, and B : if he does how long he actually plays for before being dropped.

He had no right to get that shot away, if we're talking about the same one.

Turns his man, centre of the goal, goes into keepers arms? He had every right... Perhaps you mean the one first half when ehs running towards the corner and shoots across.
