,

He chased the ball alot, won it twice in good areas, one where he had a chance on goal, and another where he was fouled (not given by the ref)

He's an attacker, and he still defended more than the likes of Saha or Yakubu

Has some great touches, his passing was fine, and he took on a few players in some instances, he got past most, just lost hte ball on the final player

He had 2 crosses, one went to Cahill (who got a corner) and another came off Hyppia to go for a corner

He was barely in the middle, and who did have decent shots on target? He had to play with his back to goal, thats the type of player he is, he gets the ball, passes and runs, unfortunatly he didnt get many balls to run on to

i must have been caught in the moment or looking the other way .(y)

I was impressed with Victor's tracking back in this game. at one stage he ran down gerrard and hussled him out of possession.

Ok, so apart from the cross for Cahill's header, the snap shot in the first minute, and almost winning a penalty in the second half...

What's Anichebe ever done for us?

He was up against one of the best defences in the league at his age......
