I mean, I get the first part about mentioning squad depth to challenge next season, which is why recruitment has to be key for them, especially considering it wasn't great this season, but what exactly are we challenging for?

The part about Moyes though sounds like they're comfortable with mid-table and doesn't sound like they're really ambitious right now.

So, after the last few years - stability is exactly what we need. If its a two year plan, then fantastic- let's get a couple of full backs and a striker and go for it next year.

I know people think it doesn’t matter, but I questioned TFG when they apparently didn’t turn up for the last game at Goodison or the first game at Bramley Moore.
It spoke volumes, they passed up the opportunity to be part of the most emotionally charged period in our club's recent history. We're nothing more than an investment to them, and to be fair they've never given any indication they see us as anything more.

I expect a period of stability (businessmen protecting their investment) followed either by a move to sell us at a profit, or a long term plan to rinse us for all they can take.
