Andy Murray is a tennis player that has always annoyed the living hell out of me for no reason whats so ever, then again i could not stand Tim Henman either, they are just to arrogant for me and always make out they are better than what they are, thats what i think anyway.

He's scottish and ginger nuff said

Andy Murray gets a bad press in England because of some remarks he made as a teenager. He was tricked into this by some scumbag of a hack journalist and it's dogged him ever since. I can say for sure that he is a charming chap with a laconic sense of humour. Arrogant? Maybe but top sports people have to be a bit don't they? We're not all Bobby Charltons.

As for today, I thought he was superb and with Lendl toughening him up he'll win a slam before too long.

This.

It was probably a bit harsh before from me saying he seems to bottle it in the last set all the time. I quite like Murray and I'd really like to see him win, he played very, very well today and that 29 shot rally in particular was spectacular, he isn't far off Djokovic now. I don't care about what he said about England and all that.

He's a fantastic player that we should be proud of. That he can't quite beat some of the greatest players to ever pick up a racquet is no disgrace. As with the rest of the top four, he's head and shoulders above the rest in the world, he just can't quite get past Nadal or Djokovic. Heck, Federer has a tough enough job doing that and he's considered the greatest ever.

I agree. But Djokovic has been there for the taking this week. He's been off his own high pace he set last year. Murray should never have caved in so badly in the 4th set.

I think in the final we'll see just how far off last year's form Djokovic is when he plays Nadal. The Serb is a fighter and it may go to 5 sets, but I dont see anything other than a Nadal win. And if he manages to break Djokovic's grip on him it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the Slams pan out this year.

couldn't give a toss about tennis, individual sport, he gets paid a fortune, he doesn't wear his countries colours when he plays so he's not playing for Scotland, Britain or whoever. He's playing for Andy Murray.

Those who understand need no explanation, those that don't aren't worth the bother

Good luck in the Final tomorrow mate.
