He played for us at Palace in the cup and got a knee injury that’s kept him out of action since

The only player I’d consider keeping around purely due to them being a good professional is Coleman (and he can still do a job at right back).
I’ve no issues with Townsend but I see him being moved on at the end of season.

Townsend was doing alright in a poor side before his injury. Let's see how he does in a better side first.

I think like Coleman he is a good personality to have around, he attended games even when not fit, he doesn't mind getting up and down to do the defensive work and with 5 subs that can't be sniffed at.
 

Any updates when our savior is back
“The original plan was after the World Cup break to try and join back in training. I would like to think I am on schedule for that, but there are so many bumps in the road to come. Hopefully I don’t have any more setbacks and I can re-join after the World Cup break.”
