Would you take him back, say if the deal doesnt go through? If it was the club that wanted him to go then Id be happy to see him playing in blue next season, but if it was him who wanted to go (how DARE he, how dare anyone rcard:rant::whip:) then it would be the most awkward situation ever and I really dont know what would happen. Would he get played or would Moyesey just leave him to rot?

I think it'd be just fine. The lots of fans really like him, including me. He obviously has his reasons for wanting to take the Fulham opportunity.

I'd be ok with AJ coming back.

Naturally I'd like the transfer to go through as it looks as if we could use the money and it's just good business.

But if AJ came back, I'd have no problems with it. None at all.

I want the best for AJ and the club. If he wants to move then I see no point keeping him, so lets hope this transfer goes through. If it doesn't hopefully he comes back with a winner attitude and tries to up his game to put pressure on the Yak to perform.

If he comes back all miserable then it is going to suck for us (paying wages for nothing, although we are used to that *cough*VDM*cough*) and AJ won't be able to secure a move and a fee worth it to us as he will rot.

'Git 'er done'!!!!

Just a quick thought, I have a sneaky feeling that the hold up might be because Tottenham have made a bid as a replacement for Keane. They have been linked with him before, I suppose only time in will tell...

Wouldn't mind us keeping him, since I don't think it would be a good deal to sell him for a cut-down price on these circumstances. If he were injured right now it would be a different story, but this was 3 years ago and he has played very well after that without any hitches.

I can understand if he wants to leave and have his heart set on it, but I also think he is such a professional that if the prize isn't met he'll stay and do his best for us.

Cant keep a lad here if him & his missus are unsettled in the area.
Besides he as to be sold or how else will we get Moutinho:dodgy:

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson remains hopeful the club will be able to conclude a deal to sign Andy Johnson.
A fee was agreed with Everton for Johnson, although The Cottagers are renegotiating the terms of payment due to an old knee injury.
Hodgson has confirmed talks with The Toffees remain ongoing, but he has not spoken with Fulham officials to ascertain the latest situation.
"I think the situation is still ongoing. The transfer negotiations are still going on as far as I know," Hodgson told Sky Sports News.
Negotiations

"I haven't spoken to the chief executive today (Saturday) so I can't tell you more than that. He's the one negotiating with Everton."
When asked if Johnson will sign for Fulham this summer, Hodgson replied: "I think so. I've no reason to believe he won't."
Johnson has won eight caps for England and Hodgson believes the striker will bring undoubted quality to Craven Cottage.
"Andy Johnson is a player with great quality. Wherever he's been he's done very, very well," Hodgson added.
"He'll give us balance up front that we're looking for."
