Think its cos he never seemed to get the personal awards. Playing at the same time as Messi and Ronaldo didnt help mind.

That said, I think he is the only player to be MOTM in a World Cup final, European Championship final, and CL final, ever. Not too shabby.

Tbf, he is a shadow of the player he was this season, and though he was magnificent in the Copa Del Rey final, he's not been able to do it anywhere near as regularly as he could when he was lifting trophies every couple of days.
