Really? I didn't know that mate. NEA about Hulk and that, just want a manager and a CF, LB and CB in January and I think we'll be OK. Will be lucky to make top 10 after this disaster of a start but the sooner a manager is in to sort it the better and it's AVB for me from the choices available.

You should be arsed mate, he was brilliant under AVB and is exactly the type of fast powerful goalscorer we badly need.

I quite liked him at the time. Takes a bit of a pragmatic approach (ie, boring) and although we did reasonably well under him overall and had some great wins (Man U away) we took some absolute hammerings both at home and away.

Even though he won the title (I think) under Zenit I remember reading ex-players of the club complaining how boring the football was. George Graham with a beard.

Lost the players in the end.

I think it could be AVB, he just came 2nd and lost the cup on away gls when he was expected to win both. Realistically the announcement could be made tonight or tomorrow. Then again, it's Everton, they'll let Unsworth continue lengthening his rope then panic and get big Sam by the end of next week. Everyone on the board should be ashamed, especially tossers advocating giving Blues jobs based on the fact that they played for or support the team. Give people jobs based on their qualities for the job and experience, NOTHING, else. Anyway I'd be happy with AVB, especially if the other options are Unsworth, O'Neil, Pulis and Allardyce.

Need a manager first though and the 3 positions mentioned would be more important imo. I don't watch the Chinese league so couldnt comment on his performance but if we get all of the above and Hulk then happy days. My point is there's more pressing matters than getting a winger.

I'm not well versed on the Chinese league, not gonna even pretend to have a clue about it but all the talk is that he's leaving or getting sacked. So if that's the case I would hope we have him signed up over the likes of Pulis and Allardyce.
