Andre Marriner to ref the derby

Am I right in saying there is no real professional referee in the premier league? They all have 9-5 jobs?

I think its to do with the fact that when they are "making it", they get paid £5 a game, so they kinda need a career that actually pays the bills, so when they do "make it", they kinda have another job and see no reason why they should give it up.

But yeah, fairly sure most have "another" job.

No I mean, don't you see the irony in the fact a uncertified minion governs a game worth millions ( billions?) then goes to deliver mail?

Someone with a few quid should privatise them and teach them some new tricks :)

I dont think my views should be aired here Bry.

Lets just say, wall, shotgun and leave it there.
 
Does it matter? We usually start a goal down or man down no matter who the ref. Fully expect to be ****ging him off after the game.
 
I'm just hoping for a good game, hopefully the ref doesn't wreck the game, but I'm more concerned about our players turning up.
