I know it's only been two games so won't go overboard but the work rate is there, the ability to turn and make space and intelligent passing was all there tonight. He was probably the best player on the pitch tonight over the entire game.

Perhaps I'm forgetting a performance when we had him on loan but I think that was his best game for us.
He had some really good performances when he came on loan. He stood out but then again the midfield wasn’t good. On his day he is one of the best in league. That’s reason we got him was he doesn’t do enough. If somehow Carlo can get that performance regularly out of him, and no one does stupid tackles on him then he will can take us forward.
