He’s awful. He was awful before he got injured. It’s not a confidence thing - if he had confidence he’d be awful with a swagger.

Lovely lad, and I hope he gets a move somewhere he can really excel, but most of all I just really hope he gets a move ASAP.

I am with you...no chance anybody would pay 15 millions even less Benfica...they might want him that's for sure a possibility but probably on a free or ridiculous low fee a la schneiderlin...

To be fair, I believe Benfica have just had the worst season, position wise in 14 seasons this season.

There's huge disarray amongst the club, and I guess Gomes would be a coup, in a quite weak Primeira Liga.

£15m would be laughing all the way to the bank, and I guess at 28, they could still get 4-5 years out of him. It's definitely garbage though.
