Gomes does not assert himself enough for me. And does not score near enough goals.

He should be pivotal to the team in terms of output.

May be alone in this, haven't read too far back, but does anyone worry that he doesn't know his game? And worrying, neither does Silva. When he first came, he was box to box on adrenalin and looked like a bit of a Tottenham Dembele type. Now he doesn't seem to want to carry the ball, and for a centre mid he never seems to get anywhere near scoring or assisting. Interesting to know blues thoughts on this, what is his purpose in Silva's setup?
