After every yellow card foul, who is going to medically assess each player to see of that then leads to a red card. Does the referee guess? Ask the sponge man? Do the FA send a medical guy down on the monday to assess the damage and then give Red.
I have never, ever heard of added punishment due to causing injury after an initial decision is given.
How has it take 140 years for this to be introduced for the first time?
Can you imagine how diving and feigning injury will thrive now. The aftermatch is as/more important than the tackle/foul.
