I think he's going to enjoy playing in this team, he's a quality player, but I'm sure he's aware there is talent around him and we play attractive football.

He just might fancy a permanent move come the end of the season, there is no doubt whatsoever we are going to try and buy him when his loans up.

Reminds me a bit of Dembele in that the way he has composure on the ball in the bucket loads and uses his body well to protect the ball. I realise he's played with some of the best midfielders to walk the planet at Barca but he must love having Gueye behind him mopping up and letting him provide the attacking impetus. His quality is very obvious and I think we'll have some competition for his signature but I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to sort it in January.

I hate to say it but he reminds me of Alonso the rs one not the Chelsea one

I wouldn't 'hate' to say it, Alonso was a legitimate player, he proved that for that lot and Real/Bayern.
Was a proper player, Alonso and one I found really hard to dislike despite playing for them cu***.
Today Gomes replicated that and he's still building up fitness, it's a fair shout.
