Hes a quality player

Swap out Barcelona with Chelsea and you have exactly the same scenario as Gomes

A good PL player but not a regular starter for a top 4 side

He's shown mountains of promise and will be a top player

Where'd he play in a first 11 Michael? Because if he isn't going to get in the first 11, he isn't going to sign for us.

I can’t see Brands or Gomes wanting a buy back clause inserted They know it would only be Barca buying him to sell him on immediately at a profit and I don’t think Gomes will accept that
