ToxtethBlue

Player Valuation: £50m
To me he has all the tools to be one of the best box to box midfielders in Europe, the Brazilian Steven Gerrard in my opinion. He has everything you need to compete and be one of the best: strength, pace, skill, passing ability, box to box energy, intelligence and good defensive skills.

Only thing he rarely needs to add to his game is end product, both assists and goals. Once he gets the experience I'm sure they will come.

What do you think? I think he's been very impressive considering he's only been playing central midfield for a year or two. Is there a better young up and coming central midfielder in Europe?

fellaini? hopefully in a few months time, there will be evidence to back up my claim (y)

but yes anderson is brilliant

Top of my list - Fabregas is less than a year older than Anderson and is already one of the best!...

But reckon Anderson will prove more important to Utd in the long run than any of Ronaldo, Nani, Rooney etc...

Keep an eye out for Toni Kroos at Bayern, lacking a little defensively maybe - but that never stopped Scholes did it?!...

Anderson will be a fantastic player, if he can measure up to the void left by Keane he will be a wonderfull player.

I also see a lot of talent in Nani, he tore Aresnal to shreads in the cup last year if he can maintain that level of performence for a season he will be pretty close to Ronaldo quality. If the keep hold of Mr R they may just dominate Europe untill Fergie reties will be intresting to see how Berbatov fits into the picture and what impact this has on Rooney.

He reminds me alot of Fernandes.

Brilliant player. Has all the tools to be one of the best.

Yeah, defo quality player, Portugal have a lot of great youngsters coming through. Watch this space as BK would say, good shout for the 2010 WC

I remember Ferguson claiming that he was "the brightest prospect he has worked with"

but then again he says to anyone that joins Man U.

anyway Anderson is a top notch player but I think he would better if he lost the dreads

Im going against the general consensus of this thread, from the games Ive seen he's not that special. Not world beater Fabregas special anyway.

In the game against Argentina at the Olympics he was outclassed completely. He's got a good engine, good skills and Im no managers arsecrack, but theres miles better players out there.
