Kenwright is a great blue who has done loads for the club.

Some people are only bothered by what happens on the pitch though which is fair enough.

Of course he is a great blue.

But his contribution in funds is no where to be good enough in today's standard. The club will be going nowhere as long as he is playing a big role. I don't understand how a club like Everton cannot attract a rich buyer. There should be someone out there who is mega rich and is an Evertonian...oh well.

This is depressing...we lost to the mighty Burnley at home. I just can't stop moaning right now. Sorry.

Depends what way you look at it I suppose.

I view clubs as massive parts of the community before anything else and at that level our club is on par with any club in the world. The work we do and the care we show for the community is something to be incredibly proud of and it has Bill's name written all over it. This is why I will always defend him.

There are probably 30 odd clubs out there in England alone who think the same as you in terms of why we can not attract a rich buyer. They dont grow on trees and anybody looking to buy a club would probably give us a swerve as even our fans seemingly think we are rubbish and cant attract an out of work manager so may as well not bother.

I have brought that full circle which is nice...

Since he managed Chelsea against us four times and we beat them twice and drew twice, yes, I reckon he's heard of us.

Little chance of getting him though.

I dunno, Dave.

Although we laugh at him, Rafael is quite a big name in European football.

Won the CL at the RS, the EL with Chelsea.

Has managed at Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Napoli.

So if the Barcodes can attract Rafael surely we could attract Ancelotti.

I think Tuchel was linked with Southampton this summer (not sure how seriously). But Ancelotti: I've seen stories on other forums from pretty sober minded people about talks, but I cant see it.

At Bayern and RM, he had inherited a fairly successful squad built by mourinho and guardiola to which he added pieces and got them performing (tbf he was underwhelming in the league finishing third and second with RM and though he won the BL, Bayern fans reckon all games were boring to watch).

Imo Ancelotti is good for teams that have a good enough squad and he can give them guidance and will find systems to get the best out of them and will make sure you won’t fall below your level at which he took over. But he isn’t tactically any better than any of the PL managers. For a complete rebuilding job at Everton i really doubt he is the right person for it.

There is also a question, with this board how effective a manager like Ancelotti would be. Tuchel or Unsworth for me.
Seems far fetched on Ancelotti.

I could only envisage him being offered a two year contract with clauses that he could get out anytime a CL club of his choice came knocking and he could name his own salary.

Unlikely, to say the least.

Farhad: “Carlo. Mate. Fancy joining a project which will end in a lovely dockside stadium?”

Carlo: “What’s the catch?”

Farhad: “There isn’t one (We’ve got no strikers and the most unbalanced squad you’ve ever seen and Oumar Niasse is being hailed as a saviour oh and Ashley Williams is on the pay roll AND YOU HAVE TO GIVE ROONEY MINUTES) and here’s £7m a year for 3 years mate”

Carlo: “wait...what was that bit in the middle?”

Farhad: “I’ll see you Monday”
