ok sub intelligent comment here - GWS you blerting feck tard! there i said it, not taking it back either! BTW "open letter- A published letter on a subject of general interest, addressed to a person but intended for general readership" is not the same as a general forum, get your superior intellect around that nobcheese

Kenwright's full time job is his Theatre business.

And even that is suffering from his 24/7 search for investment over 11 years. Early Kenwright was viewed as the man who would redefine the theatre as an artform. That all looks so sad now in the context of Evita, Blood Brothers, and Wolf Creek.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

I've walked in and there's haymakers being thrown all over the shop.

Calm it. Before the MODZ go all Jason Bourne on your asses.

In those five years, we have generated £368m, the 8th best in the Premier League. a cumulative wage spend of £244m, the 10th highest in the Premier League, representing 66% of every penny we earn. I make no apologies for asking you to re-read this paragraph.
He puts "8th best" and "10th highest" in bold as if that's a great achievement. He is aware there are only 20 teams in the Prem right? We're not 10th out of 1000 teams -- we're 10th out of 20! Being 10th is distinctly average.

Matter of fact, once you filter out teams which got relegated in those five years, 10th might reasonably be considered below average if one compares Everton with all the other teams which remained in the Prem during that five year period (which would be less than 20 -- maybe 14 teams?)

Apologies if someone else made this point already didn't have time to read all the thread (or even the OP) and from the brief check of the last few posts this has collapsed into nonsense and this probably is not the appropriate place to start trying to make actual points. I am the worst.

I have been going to Goodison since 1977 and I live under a wooden bridge. I am in fact, a troll.

I have long dreamed of mid-table obscurity Bob. Thanks.
