I am hoping that it is a repeat of what happened when Harry Catterick replaced Johnny Carey, Carey finished 6th but was sacked and Harry lead Everton to 2 league championship and a cup, that is my hope.....

The big difference is that we had John Moores as chairman who was willing to pay top dollar to get Everton to the top

By the end of August... 3 winnable games and transfer deadline day (2/9) we will know more. I get a sense that the players are relishing a new manager (and a slight impression Moyes isn't winning all his battles at Man U which might keep (our) playersvaway from him. Martinez could be a breath of fresh air. 3 good performances & those fears can disappear. NSNO.
