What were your favourite demos back in the day?

Ahh great stuff. Remember it well.

That was my favourite, the only other one I can remember was the BudBrain demo - I bet these guys are doing some pretty amazing stuff now, considering what they were doing 20 years ago.

haha nice one, I never came across that one. Gets a bit rude near the end like!!

Ha, yeah, forgot about those. They caught me out back in the day too, when I was showing my mum and dad how amazing the new computer was.

Gotta love the beatbox chicks though.

I was never an Amiga guy. Always a PC guy. However, a friend of mine rocked the Amiga, and another rocked the arch rival......the Atari ST :D

I do have to thank the Amiga for one thing though, my introduction to the Elite series of games. Epic games that still have no peer, even today.

If anyone wants instructions to get Frontier: First Encounters up and running on a modern PC, lemme know!

My son still has his Amiga 500+. Used to have some fun on that with split screen racing. Dylan when Amigas came out PCs were crap for games.

Nah, disagree there. Pretty much anything you could get on an Amiga you could get on a PC. And then PC's very quickly left the Amiga and ST in the dust hardware-wise.

I do remember when Commodore released their failed attempt at entering the console market....turning Sega's own advertising against them (Sega....it takes AGES to be this good), they came up with 'It takes Sega ages to be this good' Thought it was quite cheeky!

Terrible console. Had a 500+ and a 600 myself, fantastic for cheap games. We had a computer club when I was a kid where you'd buy 10 disks for £4 and just go around picking other peoples games and copying them. Them were the days, I was only about 12 like.

Shadow of the Beast

Really, really hard game. Finished the first one, but the ramped it up to a notch below impossible for Beast 2. Gave up on that one as it was WAY too frustrating.
